As the Principal of this esteemed institution, I feel a real sense of privilege in having the opportunity to lead this stupendous Institution. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that all students to achieve the very best of their ability.

Our college has the privilege of having a healthy, harmonious ambiance and rich values which have played a pivotal role in shaping the future of innumerable students. Our mission is to transform students into rational thinkers, competent workers, law abiding citizens and enlightened individuals skilfully.

I appeal to the students to preserve our heritage and environment for yourself as well as for your next generation. Always be a soldier to preserve our traditions and our territory. With skilful and dedicated teachers and fabulous infrastructure, our college helps students to realize their goal in life. I motivate and encourage the students to take privilege and advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involves themselves in all the extracurricular activities that are offered.

Dedication, hard work perseverance is the most important traits in a person that lead them to the pinnacle of success. The future expects a lot from you. You have to fulfil the need of your next generation also. So, you have to prepare yourself here for an active participation in the world. This active participation makes you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as a responsible citizen. நான் N.புவனேஸ்வரி நாகை காயிதேமில்லாத் மாவட்டத்தில் இயங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த ஒரே அரசு கல்லூரியான தருமபுரம் ஞானம்பிகை அரசு மகளிர் கலைக் கல்லூரி மயிலாடுதுறையில் 1980 கல்வி ஆண்டிலிருந்து 1983 வரை இளங்கலை பட்டப்படிப்பு பொருளில் பயின்றேன்.

நான் பயின்றக் காலத்தில் கல்லூரியின் உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளான வகுப்பறைகள்,ஆய்வுக்கூடங்கள்,நூலகம் ஆகியன சிறப்பான முறையில் அமைக்கப்பட்டு அனுபவம் மிக்கப் பேராசிரியர்களாலும், பணியாளர்களாலும்,நூலகராலும் சிறப்பாக நிர்வாகம் செய்யப்பட்டு வந்தன. தற்போது இந்தக்கல்லூரியில் கீழ்க்கண்டதுறைகள் இளங்களைப் பட்டங்கள் வேதியியல்,வணிகவியல்,நிர்வாக மேளாண்மை கூடுதலாக இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.அத்துடன் அவையும் சிறப்பாக செயல்படுவதையும் அறிந்துள்ளேன்.

கல்லூரிப் பேராசிரியர்கள்,மற்றைய பணியாளர்கள்,கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம் ஆகியவை நான் பயின்றகாலத்தில் மாணவர்களை கல்வி கற்க வைப்பதில் ஊக்குவிப்பதையும் உற்சாகப்படுத்துவதையும் தங்களது தலையாயகடமையாக மேற்கொண்டு செயல்பட்டனர். மேலும் மாணவர்கள் அவர்களை எளிதில் அணுகமுடிந்தது. காட்சிக்கு எளியவர்களாகவும் மிகச்சிறந்த அறிவு சான்றவர்களாகவும் பேராசிரியர்கள் விளங்கினார்கள். அவர்கள் இதனை இக்கல்லூரியின் பாரம்பரியமாகவே வளர்த்தெடுத்துள்ளனர். இக்கல்லூரி இன்றும் சமூகத்தின் அறிவுசார் சொத்தாக விளங்கிவருவதை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். ஒரு மாணவியாக இக்கல்லூரியில் நான் பயின்றதை நான் பெருமையுடன் நினைவு கூருகிறே. அந்த காலகட்டத்தில் நாகை காயிதேமில்லத் மாவட்டத்தில் இயங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த ஒரே அரசு மகளிர் கலைக் கல்லூரி இதுவாகும். இக்கல்லூரியில் கல்விபயின்றதால் எனது வாழ்க்கைத்தரம் உயர்ந்து நான் இன்று நல்லநிலையில் உள்ளேன். எனது பேராசிரியர் பெருந்தகைகளுக்கு எனது வணக்கங்களுடன் கூடிய நன்றியினைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

வணக்கம்!..

எனது பெயர் முனைவர் நா.சாந்தகுமாரி பூம்புகார்க்கல்லூத் தமிழாய்வுத்துறையில் உதவிப்பேராசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றி வருகிறேன். இக்கல்லூரியில் முன்னாள் மாணவி. 1995-1998 வரை இக்கல்லூரியின் இளங்கலைச் செயல்முறைத்தமிழ் பயின்றேன். இக்கல்லூரி எனது திறமைகளை எனக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்த தாயாவாள். இங்குதான் ‘நிலவு‘ எனும் தலைப்பில் முதன்முதலில் கவிதை எழதினேன்; ‘இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டில் இந்தியா’ என்ற தலைப்பில் திறனாய்வுக் கட்டுரை எழதினேன்; சுலோகங்கள் எழதினேன்; மேடையேறி பாடலும் பாடினேன்.

இன்று உதவிப்பேராசிரியராக,எழத்தாளராக (சிறுகதை நூல்-கடலைத்தேடி,குறும்புதினம்-பாட்டியின் வெத்தலப்பெட்டி) திறனாய்வாளராக (தமிழறிஞர் முல்லைவாணன்-திறனாய்வு நூல்) மேடைப்பேச்சாளராக உயர்ந்து நிற்கிறேன்.

எனக்குக் கற்றுத்தந்த எனது அன்னைக் கல்லூரியைத் திரும்பிப் பார்க்கிறேன்.சுவரும் கட்டிடங்களாலும் கற்பித்தலாலும் உயர்ந்து பொன்விழா ஆண்டில் பயணிக்கிறாள்.
