HISTORY OF MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT
The Mathematics department was started in the year 1977-1979. Mathematics is offered as allied subject for Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry.
The department was upgraded as Post Graduate department from the year 2012-2013 and Ph.D programme was introduced in part-time and full-time mode from the academic year 2015-2016.
There are 4 regular members and 6 Guest Lecturers in shift I and 2 Guest Lecturers in shift II. To explore student’s potentiality to attend the competitive examinations, the department creates a supportive learning environment through its “Club of competitive studies”.
