HISTORY OF CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT
In the year 1977-1978 chemistry was introduced as allied subject. B.Sc. Chemistry was introduced in the year 2011 -2012. The department was upgraded as Post Graduate department in the year 2017-2018. Chemistry is offered as allied subject for Physics, Zoology and Biochemistry. The department has curie club to Inspire women to pursue careers in science and reach the top of their field. There are 5 regular members, 3 Guest Lecturers in Shift I, 1 Guest Lecturers in Shift II,1 OSA Lecturer , 1 OSA Lab Assistant and 1 OSA Store Keeper.
